It was an election night few of us will forget. A spontaneous party broke out on Lafayette St. in front of Moe's in Fort Greene, where cops and neighborhood folks danced in the street to drum beats and chants of "Yes We Can!" I drank Obamatinis (pomegranate, vodka and vermouth), Obamimosas (prosecco and orange-pineapple juice), and a lovely, minerally pinot noir from New Zealand, while a friendly woman I met on the subway dug into her outsize Mrs. Field's Obama cookie.
